What Song Is the Hotel Lobby Trend? Quavo, Takeoff, Lyrics

Think of it as a celebration verse. Quavo opens, Takeoff follows, and between them they brag about jets, chains, cash and the people who stuck around before the money. It is a string of flexes rather than a story with a plot.

The delivery is the rapid triplet cadence Migos made famous, three syllables per beat, over trap production. The official video, co-directed by Keemotion and Quavo, borrows from the film Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas (Wikipedia). That video is not where the orange booth comes from; the booth belongs to the COLORS session.

Strictly, no. The credit reads Unc & Phew, not Migos, and Offset does not appear. It gets filed under Migos anyway, and the AI clips get called the Migos AI trend, because two thirds of the group are on it. Inside the trend the “Migos AI song” might be this track, music someone added, or a rap an AI wrote; the Migos AI page covers that.

Song lyrics are protected by copyright, so this page does not quote them. Genius has the complete text with annotations, and Spotify and Apple Music usually display synced lyrics during playback. For another language, try a lyrics site in that language, and treat the result loosely: rap slang seldom survives a literal translation.

Would you rather hear bars about your own pair? Choose AI rap on a Seedance model and type a topic; the model writes an original verse, and Both rap makes the two of you swap lines. For starters, see funny rap lines for friends and Hotel Lobby video ideas.

On June 17, 2022, COLORS uploaded “Quavo & Takeoff - HOTEL LOBBY | A COLORS SHOW”, a 2:46 session that kicked off its Black Music Month run with Motown, directed by Munachi Osegbu. As with every A COLORS SHOW, the backdrop is a single flat color, orange this time, and one mic hangs between the two performers (COLORS on YouTube, Know Your Meme). The view count stood at 122,386,344 on September 29, 2026.

• Billboard Hot 100: debuted June 4, 2022, spent 22 weeks on the chart and reached No. 55 on the chart dated January 14, 2023 (Billboard).
• Elsewhere: No. 12 on Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs, No. 55 in Canada; Platinum in the US, Gold in Brazil and France, Silver in the UK (Wikipedia).
• Album: it appears on Only Built for Infinity Links, released October 7, 2022, the one and only Unc & Phew album, which opened at No. 7 on the Billboard 200 (Wikipedia).

Takeoff, whose birth name was Kirsnick Khari Ball, was shot and killed outside a Houston bowling alley on November 1, 2022, 25 days after the album’s release. Police said they did not believe he was the intended target (Wikipedia).

• September 2026: AI video tools begin replacing Quavo and Takeoff with other people and characters, and the trend (also known as Migos AI) spreads. Know Your Meme points to a viral Suits version posted on TikTok on September 16, 2026, while XXL puts the first cat versions in early September (Know Your Meme, XXL).
• Versions star friends, couples, athletes, TV characters and pets, made with tools including Starrd, Summrs and CapCut templates (Complex).
• September 23, 2026: Quavo shares the untouched COLORS performance again (The Source, Complex).
• Pushback: some fans dislike AI recreations of Takeoff after his death and the use of people’s faces without permission (Complex, XXL).
• Other names: captions and tool pages also say Migos AI or the AI rap duo trend, and some tools swap the song for an AI rap written about the pair.

It lands best with people you know: a best friend, a partner, a parent. Hotel Lobby Video places the two people from your photos on the orange set, backed by the Hotel Lobby track, a song you upload or, on a Seedance model, a new AI rap on any topic. It does not recreate Quavo or Takeoff, and it is an independent tool with no connection to them, Quality Control Music, Motown or COLORS.
